Progress Log – Long Grass and Level Obstacles
Long grass is now implemented in the game. It’s the first level obstacle to be added to the game since it left the prototype stage.
I decided pretty early on to have the level hazards be unique to the zone they’re themed around. So for example. this obstacle will only be found in the forest levels. I have several more in mind for the other zones which I’ll probably get around to implementing as I start work on each zone.
Here’s what it looks like in game:
While I was working on foliage effects, I caused a weird visual glitch to happen which affected all of my trees. I recorded it because it looked amusing.
